Fire Extinguisher

Fire Extinguisher Training with Live Fire Exercise

This course provides participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely and effectively use portable fire extinguishers during the early stages of a fire emergency. Training covers fire behavior, fire classifications, extinguisher types and applications, workplace fire safety, and emergency response procedures. Participants will learn the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) and how to assess whether a fire can be safely extinguished or if evacuation is the appropriate action.

The course includes a supervised live-fire exercise, allowing participants to apply classroom concepts in a controlled environment using portable fire extinguishers on actual fires. Upon completion, participants will have the confidence and practical experience necessary to respond appropriately to incipient-stage fires while maintaining personal safety and complying with applicable safety standards and workplace requirements.
